About Us
History
Zorg en Welzijn Groep (ZW- Groep) is the organization for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and the elderly.
Fundashon Kuido pa Bista i Oido (FKBO) was founded on December 27, 1983. The foundation started with a group of clients who met to participate in social activities organized by volunteers.
In 2004, the foundation began providing care to the group of visually impaired people.
And in 2005, the foundation started providing care to the hearing impaired.
The foundation began functioning operationally in 2011, with a care contract from the Health Insurance Office (ZVK).
In 2016, the foundation started another care contract with the Public Body Bonaire (OLB), Directorate of Society and Care (DSZ), for the establishment of a platform for the target group.
Following this, the foundation continued to grow and signed a second care contract with ZVK in 2018 for the Bonaire Social Support (BMO) department.
Following these advancements, which led to a broadening of the foundation's goals and target group, the foundation has changed its name. The foundation is now named Zorg en Welzijn Groep (ZW-Groep).
Goals and Functions
The target group is self-reliant, with potential for development, with a view to enhancing and safeguarding the quality of life.
The care and well-being of the target group is up to standard and guaranteed.

to improve and safeguard their quality of life.
The healthcare sector needs expertise.
More needs to be done in terms of prevention and cooperation on
